Tiffany Orner

Veteran. Founder. Writer. Strategist.

I build relationship infrastructure for the people the system forgets.

Tiffany Orner, Founder and CEO of The TO Agency

I'm Tiffany. I founded The TO Agency on the Emerald Coast. I designed the Backbone Collective as the relationship infrastructure for military spouses. Before that, I served in the U.S. Air Force, built the Grunt Style Foundation, contributed to the coalition that helped pass the Honoring our PACT Act in summer 2022 alongside Jon Stewart and partner veteran service organizations, and helped surface the case for Foreverly House in Ballston Spa, New York. It is the first home in New York State for homeless female veterans and their children, operated by the Veterans & Community Housing Coalition.

I am a third-generation military family member. My family carries on the work in its own way: a husband who serves in the Air Force Reserve, a son set to commission as a U.S. Air Force officer in 2027, and a household that does not get to forget what service costs.

I write on Substack, on LinkedIn, and in the long form that does not fit anywhere else.

What I'm Building

The TO Agency

Relationship infrastructure for brands that want to be felt, not just seen. Two anchor engagements at a time, run deep. The agency is closed to new client work through 2026.

The Backbone Collective

A national network of military spouse Operators trained and deployed as field activators near military installations. Built so spouses are seen, supported, and earn. Phase 2 (Colorado Springs market) projected for late 2027.

The Writing

Letters from Uganda (weekly Substack newsletter). Scalable Summit field notes. LinkedIn long-form (20,000+ readers).

The Receipts

I do not claim. I document.

  • Helped pass the Honoring our PACT Act in summer 2022, alongside Jon Stewart and a coalition of veteran service organizations.
  • Helped surface the case for Foreverly House in Ballston Spa, NY, beginning in conversations that started in 2016. The home officially opened in June 2025.
  • Built the Grunt Style Foundation while serving as part of the Grunt Style team in San Antonio.
  • Designed and ran the MilSpouseFest junior enlisted track at Joint Base Lewis-McChord and NAS Pensacola in 2024. Onsite childcare, first-ever diaper distribution at NASP, and coached sponsor listening sessions.
  • Delivered diaper distributions across six geographic regions over six years: Joint Base Andrews, Camp Lejeune and the Carolinas, Camp Pendleton, San Antonio, the Emerald Coast, and Washington State.
  • Built the Forever Warriors Future Airmen & Guardians Commander's Call at the Air Force Armament Museum, June 24, 2023. Over 100 Delayed Entry Program recruits with families, Military Service Organizations from Duke Field, Hurlburt Field, and Eglin.
  • Serves on the boards of Operation Child Care Project (occproject.org) and the Special Operators Transition Foundation (sotf.org).

Speaking and Media

I take inquiries directly.

Topics I speak on

  • Building relationship infrastructure (not only brand awareness)
  • Why the military marketing industrial complex is broken, and what comes next
  • Going from two diapers and two dollars to a national strategic firm
  • The Backbone Collective: embedding brands in communities they could not enter otherwise
  • Service, motherhood, and the third career most veterans never get to talk about
  • Why "this might not work" is the only honest opening for any strategy
