In March of 2022 a tragedy struck our family, and we lost our 2 1/2 year old grandson to an accidental drowning while on a family vacation to Florida.
In March of 2022 a tragedy struck our family, and we lost our 2 1/2 year old grandson to an accidental drowning while on a family vacation to Florida.

It was in the hospital where I learned that Drowning is the #1 cause of death in children ages 1-4. I also learned about Infant Self Rescue (ISR) lessons that teach children as young as 6 months old to roll to the surface of the water to breathe air while awaiting help. I was shocked to learn how prevalent drowning is, but yet, I hadn't known it.
